It’s amazing how things work out for people to get together. We met online (at match.com), where there are hundreds of people and we somehow got together. We were unsure of each other after our first date (we realized that it was going to be a long-distance relationship) but decided to try a second date. It was the best mutual idea we both ever had. After the second date things took off and the more time we spent together, the more in love we became.
On her Graduation Day on May 19th, 2007, we decided to take the next step and we got engaged. During the engagement time, we maintained a website wedding.matthewthornton.info with updates on the wedding and stories about the wedding.
Now that we’re married, we’ve decided to keep this site going as a way exploring where we are going in our marriage. Day-to-day stuff, lessons learned, and other stuff. It’s also an archive of our wedding website. Have fun!
