First of all, 13 months to go. Almost a year!!
Secondly, the nineteenth of this month was Matt and my 6 months of being engaged "anniversary". The cool thing about that was we were getting ready to go see family for Thanksgiving, and we went to go pick my sister up in Athens. We pulled over to rearrange seating when Matt got out of the car. This is going to be sappy, so if you’re not in the mood to hear about it, I suggest to stop reading at this point. :0) When Matt came around the back of the car, he told me "we have to kiss here". I was confused at first, but then realized that our first kiss had been in that same parking lot after our third date there in Athens. So, cheezy as it may sound, I think it was very sweet of him to remember that.
Thirdly, Matt’s mom and I are begining to work on the favors for the wedding. Its something that will be handmade and personalized, so it will take some time, but in the end, it will be worth it, I think. Thank you to Momma Thornton for getting the favors and for helping me out with them!
Well, thats about all for this month. I will be looking to buy a dress in the next four months or so, and the next "immediate" task is to find and hire a caterer and baker.
